Beautiful expansive greenspace, playground, basketball and tennis courts, baseball diamond, covered picnic area, across from ponds and hiking trails, and home to a family of sandhill cranes. Everything you could want in a city park.

We like coming to this park for a couple reasons. There are swings for little kids and big kids. The playground is for various ages. There's a nice little shelter area and a basketball court. There used to be a tennis court but it was torn up when I just visited. There is a large open field and it is right next to the conservatory.

Love walking around this park. It isn't big, but it is the cornerstone of the neighborhood. There are large swaths of mown lawn, a shelter for picnics, a playground, basketball and tennis courts, and a prairie restoration project.
