I’ve been going to the North Park gym for about two years now. It’s a decent place for pickleball and has workout equipment that gets the job done, though nothing to write home about . However, the cardio machines badly needs an upgrade—2 out of 3 treadmills stop working mid-run, which is annoying and unsafe. The pool is almost always unavailable, and judging by the comments I’ve seen, this seems to be a recurring issue. I don’t understand how hard it is to maintain a pool, but it’s ridiculous. The basketball situation is trash as well. Every time I try to play, the court is rented out. I’ve never heard of people renting a basketball court at a gym before. There’s also a shooting machine, but you have to pay to use it, which is a scam it should be included with the gym membership. Tennis seems pretty dead; no one uses the courts, and based on the comments, I assume they’re not in good condition. Similarly, I’ve never seen anyone playing racquetball, and the courts look outdated. I’ve tried canceling my membership multiple times, but when they finally processed it, they still charged me for two extra months. Overall, this gym is only worth visiting for pickleball with a day pass once a year with your mom or dad just to spend time with them.

I love tennis, I don't love this gym. I signed a contract for $105. They raised the price during my 12 month contract to $155. No heads up, no notice. I canceled my membership. Apparently when new ownership took over they changed the contracts to state they can raise the price any time. In addition to this, they also removed 2 tennis courts. I agreed to pay $105 a month to have access to 4 tennis courts. They reduced the value I was receiving and raised my price. $155 was not in my budget and I expressed this to them. They did not care. After I canceled they charged me again. I wasn't going to write a review but after receiving a collection bill in the mail, I feel I must let people know that this IS NOT A PLACE YOU SHOULD DO BUSINESS WITH. :) Have a good day. Oh also, their sauna is disgusting like they haven't cleaned it in 15 years...lol Pool is closed pretty often.

Staff is awesome, always helpful..(even remember my name as I live 2.5hrs away so not a everyday member(kinda cool I thought). Pickleball is great, all levels people are cool. Fun and competitive
