Lake Placid Park

WOW. I had to completely rewrite my review on this park. They just remodeled it in May, and I am super impressed! The instruments they have in at this park do not just sound like metal clanging together repeatedly, but they actually make pleasant sound! The new swings are a lovely upgrade as well, they are not squeaky and squealy anymore! I have to say that the company that rebuilt the park did amazing! There are not restrooms on site, but across the street there is Millers, which keeps it's bathrooms nice and clean. The trail in the back of the park that loops around the lake is also wonderful, and I enjoy taking photos back there.

Love the ambience of the lake, sun and clouds. There are 4 courts that are all terribly cracked and are really dangerous to play on. There are 2 gates and only one is assesible the other stays padlocked which is a security hazard. Benches welded in with covering would be nice as the courts are very sunny. Separators between the courts and gates that can be entered from the outside of the fencing would updated this location. This beautiful location is in dire need of a complete update. We all talk about it but it’s time for this City Park to have an uplift. There are no restrooms.

Shows pickleball courts on Google. We went there and there's no courts, no pickleball lines, nothing.
