The Fields at Little Valley

This park has many features for many different sports activities. The pickleball courts may be the largest in southern utah. It offers: four sand volleyball courts, several grass soccer fields (three fresh grass), a splash pad and children's, outside bathrooms, and plenty of concrete walkways. For earthing, it offers tremendous area of fresh green grass. There may be patches of shade near the splash pad. However, the park is open from sunrise to 10pm.

We drove 11 hrs and spent thousands of dollars to play in a tournament. After day 1, the entire tournament was canceled before 7 AM because the fields were “swamped”. We were already at the field for our 8 AM game and the fields, while needing some attention around the bases were fine. It seems very reactive and disrespectful to cancel an entire weekend of play before 7 AM of day 2, especially with a clear forecast and lights, which would allow for a delay to properly treat the field. Extremely disappointed. Attached is a photo of the aforementioned “flooded” fields - you decide for yourself.

Our team paid thousands of dollars to play in a two day tournament and before 7am on day two all games were cancelled due to "standing water" on the fields. The complex director and staff made absolutely no attempt to treat the field or adjust the schedule to allow the teams some play time given all the time and resources they used to get here. The short sighted decision to cancel before 7am with no attempt for a mitigation plan, such as even raking the fields, showed complete disregard for all the girls, coaches, umpires and families who took an immense amount of time and money to play in this tournament. The "standing water" was minimal and in foul territory only. Very disappointing experience.
