It really is true, if you're fortunate to live in what they call 'color country' the Red Rock area - how dramatic the landscape is. This place despite hot summers, is glorious. Its home to the Virgin River which makes its way south in Arizona and Nevada. Several paved walkways for pedestrians and bikes only line the river. Spotting birds, including swallows, bats and road runners, geckos & lizards and all sorts of wildlife never gets tiring. Its a continual affirmation of the abundance of desert life which puts you at ease and makes you right with the world. From walking paths to access to the Bear Claw Poppy trail head, what you choose to celebrate the outdoors has no limits. This community is spectacular to live in...

Great park in a quiet neighborhood. Just down the road from the Bear Claw Poppy trailhead. Pavilion and bathrooms are well cleaned.

Take a walk through time at Bloomington Park. Go backwards just to the 1970s and there was near nothing but desert and dust here. Now? The mature trees and flowering bushes dot the landscape of Bloomington. The Virgin River cools everything down and there are absolutely no street lights; not one. This is a park and a community that I have called home for 30+ years. Dedicated bike paths, friendly people, new apartment communities, petroglyphs, and golf courses to envy just to name a few. All are surrounded by Bloomington Park.
