Nice place but it needs some baffles on the ceiling and walls. It echoes so much with a big group and everyone talking. It also makes it really hard to hear when music is being played. It would also be nice if you had access to at least a mop for those unexpected spills. If the weather is nice, you have access to a really great outdoor patio. Setting up the tables can be a little difficult due to having big tables which are round mixed with rectangular tables. It makes it hard if you are eating and you also have an area set up as a dance floor. Be sure to take extra 13 gallon trash bags for the bathrooms. Paper towels and toilet paper might also be needed as back up in case you run out of those items in the bathroom. It wouldn't hurt to also take a few big trash bags if you have lots of trash from food and if you have a party with lots of gifts to be opened. You are given one extra and I believe there are 4 of the big rolling trash cans. I think those are 33 gallon bags. It does have a nice little kitchen. This location doesn't have a stove like some of the other community centers have. You would also need to take your own dish soap if you need to wash dishes. You don't have an elevated stage area like the other centers have if you have a D.J. This center also cost more than the other community centers. I have already used this center for many events but now I have learned what is needed when I rent it. It would have 5 stars if some of these changes could be made.

We had a wonderful time at my grandaughters birthday at Lawndale center. It's spacious, clean, and just great all the way around. Thank you.
