This is a primary a Pickleball review. Looks like this facility favours Tennis more so than Pickleball but it does look promising for pickleball. Review: Courts of McKinney: Rating: 93 Review: 76 of 323 DPA REVIEW DATE/TIME: 01/02/2025 – Thursday 12:20 pm. McKinney 4th of 4 Reviews today. RATINGS: OVER ALL 9.3/10 COURT SURFACE- 9.2/10; LIGHTING – new indoor uplighting; COURTS: (24) 12 Indoor and 12 Outdoor Courts. 4 regular indoor and 4 regular outdoor pickleball courts. 8 indoor Hybrid & 8 outdoor hybrid courts LOCATION: 3253 Alma Rd, McKinney, TX 75070 Website: https://www.impactactivities.com/mckinney city website: https://www.mckinneytexas.org/588/Tennis Phone: (972) 547 -2012 COST: DI (outdoor courts: $5 Res $6.5 N Res); Membership: Ind: $23 Mn; $70 Initiation; Family (up to 4 people) $49 Mn; $100 Initiation Fee (Membership good at all Texas impact activities facilities). Discount on many PB related services. 90 min court time Outdoors; lessons; leagues and events for charity/Corp/group. OPEN PLAY TIMES: Sun-Sat 6a-11p, all skill levels. PROS: Clean facility and friendly staff. Cost is ok. 4 regular PB indoor courts (group 1) has nice spacing. Lighting is very good on all indoor courts. Flexibility of playing other locations. CONS: 8 Outdoor & 8 Indoor Tennis courts converted to Pickleball (Hybrid courts) The Indoor Hybrid courts have smaller spacing between courts. NOTES about this Facility.: Pickleball players all playing indoors. 16 PB players playing Group 1 courts. 12 other PB players on hybrid courts. *The DPA review was my own view, this was based on my visit at that particular time and day. The review might have been different on another day and/or time. Everyone has their own opinion

Love playing here! Courts have been well kept and the programs they offer are for every level (pickleball). I just wish you could walk directly to the indoor courts. Edit: the app used to book courts at this place is not user friendly at all. 9/10 tho you can just call and book with no problem

This is a stellar place to play Picklebal!! In a little over a year I have seen them bring in the best of the best to ensure the quality and quantity of Pickleball offerings here are top notch. I have participated in 7 leagues (Women’s and Co-Ed), played in their monthly socials and taken several PB clinics and drills to improve my game. They have something for all levels and offer during the day and evening options to meet schedules. Every month I have seen the offerings keep getting better and better. I love this facility and the community of friends you meet. Bonus… the outside courts get the most beautiful Summer Sunsets 🌅 You have to see them yourself !!
