It’s actually a lot bigger than I thought. There’s a volleyball field, basketball court, water park, clean bathroom, swings, you name it. It’s great for picnics, birthday parties and hang out. Not sure how old this place is but it’s definitely giving new looking at the swings etc. New park unlocked!

The Splash Pad is amazing. I also like the fact that it has covered seating, which is nice during the summer months. Only 4 stars because a couple times when I took my kids there in the morning, someone was sleeping on the actual playground equipment. One time they even left a burning cigarette sitting on the bottom of the slide.

This park is fun for the whole family! They are pavilions available for rent, grills available to use, plenty of seating, playgrounds and a splash pad for the kids of all ages and abilities, and tons of events occurring throughout the year at the park. McKinney hosted its annual Juneteenth celebration event this past weekend, and it was a blast!! Food trucks, music, smiles everywhere, and good old fun ❤️
