Have been playing on a tennis team through Sam Grand for almost three years now. New management came in about a year and a half or so ago, and I have to say - there has been so much improvement! The facilities improve every day, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming, and communication/instruction is top-notch. Doing a great job!

Great place. The tennis courts are well kept. It is very organized. The staff I have been working with are wonderful. Big shout-out to Collin for his knowledge (ranging from working the ball machine to racket strings), responsiveness, professionalism. Everyone is super cool. Prices are reasonable, it’s very clean. They have drills and probably could’ve taken more advantage of that. Only wish there was some shade to play more in the Texas heat during the summer months. That said, as a non-native Texan (from the East Coast), I never got used the summers. Also, one would be hard pressed to find any court with shade (at least for 30 miles, I checked) unless you’re playing indoors. 😉 🙏

A multitude of cars were broken into in the Samuell Grand parking lot the evening of 11/13. Despite that being relatively out of control for the facility, they certainly haven't taken any precautions to deter this from happening. The parking lot is incredibly dark and could potentially make some people feel unsafe walking to/from their car at night. This could be a great place to go play tennis/pickleball (which is why I gave them some stars), but honestly not worth the security risk. With the money they are charging to use their courts, hopefully they will invest in some better security measures.
