This park playground is surrounded by trees which is important in these TX summers. Despite all the surrounding shade, the playground equipment still gets mighty hot and I suggest going early in the day or in the evening when the shadows of the trees cover the playground. Designed for kids 2+ it offers a great place to play for kids. There is a basketball court and tennis court near the playground area, but we haven't used those areas yet. Bathrooms available, but haven't ventured in. Ample parking with wheelchair accessible parking also available. Late Aug in TX really drives up wasp activity, so always keep an eye out for those large flying insects resembling oversized red ants with wings. Park is kept generally clean. I have yet to see it overcrowded, so plenty of room to socially distance from others.

Nice place for family picnics. Has grills, bathrooms and tables. Nice neighborhood

I use the pickleball courts here sometimes during private reservations. The courts and lighting are good. There's a water fountain a short distance from the gate. A queuing rack and another two benches would be great!
