I grew up elsewhere, so my knowledge of Arlington is neither broad nor deep. However, this park, and the City of Arlington services show the benefits and positive impacts on daily interactions of good government done very well. The park feature something for everyone: curved walking paths, a calming water feature, sports courts, benches, and areas of lanscaping. The City of Arlington has also sited multiple services here: a warm amd well-scaled police station, and the innovative and popular East Recreation Center and Library. The East Recreation Center and Library offers a well-enjoyed and -designed branch library and a well-priced fitness center and natatorium with spaces for various courses and gatherings. Job well done to the City of Arlington.
