Such a great park for the city of Nashville. A beautiful public golf and disk golf course, nature center, hiking and bike trails, fishing, it's a must see park if you visit. Be sure to see the drippy bird!

I can't even count all of the time I spent on the trails here. Dozens of miles walking on the trails to get out in nature and unplug from the day-to-day grind. People on this trail are typically very respectful. The bicycles are occasionally annoying as they fly are breakneck speed as if trying to set a new record or compete in a competition. So alls to say, be on the lookout for bikes. The trails here offer a really cool diversity in scenery; ranging from lovely water views to deer meandering in the woods, to old bridges, side-trails into nature, and incredible boggy areas.

This park is HUGE, with miles of paved walking/biking trails. There are even several unpaved trails for walkers. There's an informative visitors center with nice bathrooms and water fountains and a fun kids area/playground. Dogs are welcome on leashes. There are also several different community entrances. There are ball parks, a canoe launch, and often special activities.
