I was the only woman in my boot camp and learned a lot and had a great time. The instructor explained everything and didn’t just show us how. Great facility and great workers. Also a male was taken to the side to practice serving while we continued the game. Highly recommend this place and the boot camp for men and women and kids

I took a boot camp class today and I was the only female in the class. During the training, I was asked to go pick up all the balls and there were a lot of them while the men were continuing to get instruction. Near the end of the boot camp you usually play some games which helps you learn the rules and practice what you learned earlier. We started playing and there was 4 of us total in the class. Another guy who had been having a private lesson finished and a comment was made by the male instructor that he appeared to be a pretty good player. He was invited over and I was asked switch out and go with another male instructor to "practice" my serve. I apparently wasn't good enough to play practice with the other men. The guy took about 15 minutes to instruct me afterwards he left me alone so I just stayed and hit more balls. I was too embarrassed and humiliated to go back at that point. The other men continued to play so I decided to leave. When I went over to pick up my coat, I was asked by the instructor at the end of their 2 or 3 game if I wanted to play. I just don't get people. He sent me away at the beginning of a crucial time where you begin to learn the rules and develop a rhythm for the game now he wanted to put me in. I had already been humiliated enough. First as a ball girl then sent for additional instruction for my serve even though I had not even served at the start of game before being sent away. The woman at the desk asked me if I had fun when I went out the door. I told her no I did not have a good time. I learned very little and wish there had been at least one other woman in the group. She offered to call me for another boot camp if it had women in it. I declined the offer. I did not want to put myself out there to be further humiliated. The whole thing was stressful and so opposite to what I thought would be a fun activity. I left from there fighting back tears. I haven't been made to feel that bad about myself in years. My advice to other women is to make sure you have another woman in the boot camp before signing up. I am not going to let this horrible experience deter me from trying it again but it won't be here.

Great spot to play pickleball or book an event! Staff is always friendly and welcoming.
