I can't say enough good things about the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department! The staff is absolutely amazing—always friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Whether it’s organizing events, maintaining the parks, or assisting with community programs, their dedication shines through. I recently attended the Fright on Franklin Family Fest and Clarksville Half Marathon event, and it was clear how hard the team works to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. The facilities and parks are well-kept, and the variety of programs offered is impressive. Thank you, Clarksville Parks and Recreation, for making our community a better place! Keep up the fantastic work!

Insufficient amount of parking at most of the parks in clarksville. Leave it to clarkaville to turn an inexpensive float down the river in a 140$ fine for parking because they would rather just put signs and mow grass instead of installing parking spots or let people park on the side. Everyone is trying to enjoy the public park. What a joke.

Do not recommend at all!! We just moved to the area and we missed basketball registration by ONE day so I called to see if there was anything we could possibly do to let my 2 daughters play or even get them on a wait list and the lady I called, apparently over it all (Vonda) was very very rude and said NO, they are full and will not put them on any list. It is little league, all kids should be able to play and have a chance!!
