This place is close to my house but i never knew how cool it was. I would go to Hixson gym. A friend of mine teaches water aerobics at the Rec center and invited me. The staff is so nice and i had worked with a couple of them in years past. I LOVE the Brainerd Rec Center!!!

We were evacuated from our home. Then, I was instructed to go here. There was a gentleman standing outside waiting for us. He was helpful and kind. I appreciate his time and understanding. The children were able to play on the playground until we were able to return home. Thank you for making a scarry situation less stressful

They offer a variety of free activities. Pickleball, swimming, basketball, etc. The staff is very friendly and does a great job of keeping the center clean.
