We recently visited Magog and took a walk at Marais de Rivière des Cerises. The place is beautiful, and you can spot many birds. We followed the wooden bridge trail, although it could need some renovations. At the end of the trail, we reached Park Merry, and decided to keep walking to explore the city on foot. As we continued, we passed through all the Park La Pointe Merry and Baie Magog, eventually reaching the intersection at Plage des Cantons. The walk was very enjoyable, and we ended up at Centre d’Interpretation, which was our starting point. We walked for about two hours or more, and it was a great experience. The weather was perfect, but the only downside was the crowd. There were many people walking, biking, and lots of tourists, which made the area a bit crowded. Overall, it was a lovely outing.

Fantastic set of walking paths. If you’re feeling energetic the paths connect to the boardwalk along the lakefront. Several paths are wheelchair friendly, there are even some picnic tables that are have a space for wheelchairs

Beautiful nature near Mount Orford, and many trails with signs indicating where you are. There is a kid’s educational trail with local animal drawings, showing the kids the qualities they can aspire towards. The trails and nature is well looked after . There’s a shop and restrooms and beautiful sculptures of the local birds. Mostly French but some English on the signs . It is free, which was a nice surprise. We spent the day of our 50th anniversary there, and in spite of the rain got a lot of peace from the flora and fauna !
