Just had a brief visit but was surprised how active it was and all the staff was very friendly. They are involved in helping with a ton of different programs, and should be a first stop for any seniors looking for help or things to do. They have a great woodshop you can pay by the day to make things at. Left feeling warm and fuzzy inside knowing we have places like this in our community

This review is not for the Campbell Center but one of the programs they offer. The Campbell Center is great and I love it, but the person they trusted with the senior law services for wills/trusts needs to not be used again. They entrusted Lynda M. Zukaitis, Esq. to help provide services for seniors looking to have reduced rate legal help for trusts/wills. Although the introductory session at the Campbell Center is free, Lynda proceeded to charge $150 an hour for little to no council. She works from home and wanted our first meeting to be in my home, which is outrageous because no senior should ever invite a stranger into their home ever. We met at a public coffee shop where she asked many personal questions prior to us having any kind of an agreement. Her questions were just on a tattered piece of paper and she inscribed my answers on a piece of paper. She did not provide any documentation outlining exactly what she does and how it will work. I had to ask all the questions to her to try to understand something that most seniors do not know how to do. There are more unprofessional landmarks in her meeting but one that stood out was sending me an agreement in the body of an email, not a PDF or attachment, straight up body of an email, wanting me to sign it then send her over $2000 before she did anything. This is not a reduced rate at all, asking to come to my home or a public place to ask personal questions, and using email as your documentation is unprofessional. Anyway, I write this because I lost $150 (I asked her to return my money because she was not making me feel comfortable or assured, but she said no) for nothing and I don't want that to happen to other seniors, and I want Campbell Center to know about this experience.

It’s a place where I can meet and make new friends for the remainder of my life. There are activities every day of the week. Eugene is blessed to have the Campbell Center, at its heart.
