The community park is great for a family visit. Young kids will love the splash pad in the summer with loads of soccer field space and a baseball diamond. In the winter, there is a community skating rink that is perfect for playing pick-up hockey. There is a rink that surrounds the hockey rink for spectators to enjoy skating without having to dodge the hockey players. Great fun will be had by all.

The year 1992, I attended Summit alternative school for grade 7. It was a small startup school with about 30 students and was unnamed at the time. It took almost a year before the name "Summit" was born into name, which happened by a vote of the student body. Every child at the time placed their respective school name in the box and the students voted. It was a close race but Summit won the day. It is nice to see such a vibrant and well supported school thrive today. It looks as though the student count is 10 times the amount I remember back in the day, which must bring the faculty and student body joy knowing that their hard work paved the way to its success. I have fond memories of the school and to this day I still hold friendships that we bonded back then.

Attended Fisher Park Christmas Market it was terrible. Had 3 sales the entire day & they charge $75 for a table! Many vendors commented there is usually many more vendors & 3 times the people that showed up. Dont waste your money or your time attending selling events here.
