What would be better than I don’t know having an online registration system for an open swim? Come 15 minutes early to find out that the open swim is full after driving 30 minutes with my kids, to be told I can go on a waist list that may take 45 minutes to get in.. so I should wait around with my 2 & 4 year old in hopes someone leaves? Absolutely astonishing that avoiding disappointment could be solved with a simple online registration system that they did all through Covid. Flawed logic here.

I’ve visited several Recreation Centers across Hamilton to swim, but the schedule or structure of the West Mountain pool surpasses all of them in both aspects.

Nice facility. Very nice and helpful front desk staff. Lifeguards should manage lane speeds better. Lanes were weirdly very narrow. Lane swim was only 4 of 8 lanes and half pool was open. Could have been 6 lane and 2 open.
