I had a deeply disappointing experience at Cedar Springs Club, particularly with Coach Russel. He is incredibly aggressive, frequently swearing at the kids and insulting both them and their mothers. His behavior is not only unprofessional but also outright racist. We stayed for two years, hoping things would improve, but it became unbearable. My son was often subjected to verbal abuse, including being sworn at with inappropriate and degrading language. This kind of conduct is unacceptable, especially in an environment meant to nurture and support children. I cannot recommend this club to anyone who values respect and a positive atmosphere for their kids. Parents should be aware of the toxic behavior displayed by this coach.

This place is going downhill. Ever since ACE program left they hired separate coaches who advertise the program as they please completely understating the level of the program. Cedar Springs has no oversight over the integrity of the tennis programs. Coaches are calling programs under their names, when they are not the actual coaches. The age and level of kids are not advertised correctly. After we left one of such programs JB Tennis, and tried to complain to Cedar Springs management about it, we were told to leave the club. Wait what? So Cedar Springs is totally fine with how coaches treat their members. The pool is no longer 5-8 drop off. It's advertised as such, however when there is a private class with Abigail, kids are not allowed in the pool at all. The lane pool is for classes and other programs too and is always busy. The slide is never open. One time my kids were made to sit in the hot tub for an hour while a guard had a class with one child in the pool. Last year a class and other kids could share the swim. It's not safe for small kids to be in hot tub for so long. Hot tub is often closed for maintenance, then the only option for kids is the splash pool. There are mouse poison traps right along the courts walls. One time my child picked it up with bare hands. If the tennis ball touches the poison box and then child touches the ball and then the mouth, it may lead to a very sad outcome. The restaurant lady told my son and his friend that she makes no money off kids buying candies because they don't buy beer. I couldn't believe a beer would be advertised to a minor child by actual server. He simply wanted to buy a candy and had to ask me to buy beer instead. New rule as of this winter is that "no outside shoes are allowed". Many people didn't know of this rule and when they saw the poster right at the door they had no choice but to leave the shoes and socks (for some reason) at the door. It's not pleasant to see bare feet walking along the club with their fungal nails. Not everyone is following this rule and some people are bare feet and others in their winter boots. It's unsanitary. It literally can't get worse. If you have a birthday party invitation and not a regular member, and walk in first time to see such poster, it will catch you by surprise. Shoes off or no entry. It literally can't get worse.

an old place, the whole establishment gets rained on, the place is in very bad condition, terrible, They also treat their employees badly. On another note, don't let your children go to this place, because the treatment towards them is 0% bad, they don't take care of them, the teachers are always on the phone, they don't look after them, the facilities for babies are dangerous since they have toys or things that are not suitable for a baby under 4 years old, the club fee is not worth it since they are charging you not only for one thing but for everything, and it is something that you don't use, think very carefully before paying for a membership.
