Came in for lunch, and it was delicious! Decent sized menu, including alcoholic beverages. Tons of seating options, and many courts to play pickleball. Many arcade games, ping pong tables, toss across, and a rock climbing bouldering wall! Employees were very attentive and kind. Will definitely be back! A great addition to downtown Toledo.

I visited Toledo Pickle Co. on Fri, Jan 24th, and Sat, Jan 25th. Walking in, the first thing that struck me was the sheer size of the space, 50,000 sq ft. It incorporates ten indoor pickleball courts, a bar and grill (Stay out of the Kitchen Grill), a mezzanine (available for private events), a climbing wall, cornhole, arcade games, ping pong, and seating to converse with friends and watch tv, while maintaining an open and airy feel. The company transformed a former City of Toledo maintenance facility into a family friendly entertainment center with a clean, cohesive aesthetic that carries through the building. Larger than life pickleball murals; a variety of overhead lighting; and natural elements (trees, bushes, plant hangings); bring a vibrant, outdoor feel to the space. Whether you’re coming to play pickleball, eat at the grill, or enjoy any of the many available activities, you should check out one of Toledo Pickle Co.’s most convenient features, its phone app. Before arriving, I was able to create my account, update my e-mail address, phone number, and add a method of payment (my credit card). I looked through the available tiered memberships (not required to play), signed my liability waiver, and learned how to book a court to play with friends or strangers. You can search the community tab for open play times, clinics, individual coaching, and leagues. As you enter the main doors of the building, the reception desk is directly in front of you, where you’ll be greeted by knowledgeable staff ready to answer any questions you may have. They’ve also got merchandise and any equipment you may need to buy before diving into a round of pickleball. I bought a hat and two shirts (including a "Little Dinker" shirt for my godson). The nine regular indoor courts are on the left and the Stay out of the Kitchen Grill, Mezzanine area, and Championship court are through the open garage doors on the right. When I visited on the 24th, I sat at the bar and was quickly greeted by the attentive staff. They ran me through available drink options, including beer, seltzers, mixed drinks, soft drinks and N/A beverages, while suggesting some popular food options. I ordered a Berry Spritzer Mocktail, Nashville Hot Nuggets, and Chicken Nachos. The spritzer was refreshingly light and bubbly and it was good to see a company prepared with drink options for all palates. The Nashville Hot Nuggets had a good balance of sweet from the honey and a dash of heat from the hot. The portion size of the nachos was right on and the bartenders were able to grab me some extra sour cream right away. On the 25th, I sat at one of the high-top tables between the grill and the championship court and used the QR code on the table to place my food order. I ordered the teriyaki steak bowl, the Chicago-Style Double Dog, a Fruit Punch, and an N/A Guiness. A food runner quickly brought everything to my table and checked on me any time she noticed my empty glass, offering to refill it. Just like the previous day, the food was high quality and provided a variety of flavors. I appreciated that ordering through the QR code let me leave my tab open or close it as I go. It even lets you move it from QR code to QR code to ensure your food and drinks show up to the right spot when you move locations. The pickleball courts stayed consistently busy throughout the day, particularly from 5-8 at night, and a steady flow of kids and patrons took advantage of the climbing wall and video games. If you need to get credits for the arcade games, there’s a self-serve machine just to the right of the door as you walk in and if you’re busy playing pickleball and need to top of your water bottle, there’s a water refiling station just inside the front door to the right as well. I enjoyed my first visit to Toledo Pickle Co. I'm excited for spring so Toledo Pickle can open its many garage doors, allowing patrons to enjoy the waterfront views of the river, the building-length outdoor patio, two outdoor pickleball courts, and use the docks to come enjoy the fun by boat.

Went to the grand opening, sampling the food of the he restaurant and getting to check out the courts. The courts are amazing and well spread out. The food was impressive and the service was expected for a grand opening. I look forward to this place being a popular hub for future development in the area. I'm going to recommend everybody to try playing a little pickleball here!
