The park is beautiful and they are currently renovating the gazebo. I wish I could go there during the summer but it's for local residents only. October is a nice time to see the leaves change. There's a long walking path, picnic tables with grills (reservation required during the hot season), a pond with ducks, geese, swans, and sometimes cranes, and a water park for the summer.

It’s a great park to go for a walk around the lake/pond. With ducks and swans swimming in. Has plenty of benches and picnic area with grills around for a family outing.

Used to go to Tibbetts when they had the pool but now it’s a lazy river! Great time for any family. River is 2’8” w a slight current & lots of water activity sections on it (v-ball, b-ball, area for laps). Floating tubes a plenty & life vests for any non-swimmers. They have a small water playground for the smaller kids; must be below a certain height to play in. They also have two huge water slides. The only thing is that they don’t have any chairs or lounge chairs. You have to bring your own to put under stationary umbrellas or by the trees in the grassy areas. The food court is decent but is cash only. I would recommend getting there early.
