Initially my family loved this park, it was easy to walk to since this park is basically in our backyard. Then a couple months ago we had an incident. I will explain in the end why Im posting now. This was the first time we enter the “main” entrance my kids (11yr old girl and 2yr old boy) were on scooters. Theres a tiny sign on the **opened** door stating whats not allowed, wed been going for months by this point and only enter the basketball court side since its closest to our house. The signs (yes there are TWO) on that side have NO mention that you cant scooter. We walked in AS A FAMILY (Myself, my 4 month old, 11yr old and my 2yr old) and there was a man (an unmarked employee) and a woman with a child who i assumed were a family, but noticed the UNMARKED man was staring at us so I just kept an eye out. We played at the play ground for a few then my 11yr old daughter went ahead on her scooter to meet us at the basketball court and she quickly came back saying a strange man approached her saying she couldnt ride her scooter. She pointed him out (same one that watched us walk in). As we walked by the pavilion AS A FAMILY, i watched him stare us down and she kept saying she was scared that he is watching her. But we told her not to worry we wont let anything happen to her. So we played on the basketball courts and i could see him staring us down heavily and I started freaking out and my man keeps telling me to ignore him. Well, he starts walking up to us puffing out his chest saying they couldnt scooter and we showed him the sign behind us saying the sign didnt say we couldnt. Mind you he NEVER had a uniform on or introduced himself at all so my man is getting protective and asking questions. Weve gone to this park for months with no problems. Hell, EMPLOYEES who are marked interact with our kids a lot WHILE on their scooters and no one has said a word. This guy proceed to yell at us and threatening to throw us out IN FRONT OF MY BABIES who are by the way watching him threaten their Dad (whos Afro-Latino). We called the park owner and he decided to stick up for his awful employee. Then feed us the line of crap that they'll change signs and make their employees wear uniforms. Iv worked in customer service for years and know what words are used to “smooth” people over. Like hello why would you have an unmarked man approached a young girl BY HERSELF after he SAW us walk in as a family AND watched us walk by him after he approached our daughter. We havent been to the park since and have warned others. Im posting now because I tried to not make this a race thing (kids mixed and Dad is Afro-Latino, oldest daughter is the darkest) HOWEVER, my mom (whos white) took my son (whos more fair) to the park and he scootered around and no one said a word. As well we go on walks all the time and pass the park, no signs have changed and I noticed many days in a row white kids scootering alllll around the park everywhere. Yet there are teenagers who smoke weed, cigarettes and vapes on the playground and not a word is said. Another time i watched kids bang and scream on doors and windows for about 30 whole minutes to be let in the pool and not a word was said to them. So my 11yr old and 2yr old were attacked by a grown man on a power trip. My parents had gone to the park to talk to the owner and literally watched the employee lie his butt off about the whole situation. So not only did they hire a completely sketchy, racist young, guy on a power trip but what scares me more is the owner vouched for him and treated me like i was just a crazy woman. I will not return to this park and i wish I could stop paying the tax to that park. All I can say is be careful around the night time supervisor cause if youre anything but what youll be stared down, targeted and threatened for just existing and the owner wont do a thing about it.

Such a nice little playground and my son loves the “fire truck” here. He’s made some friends at the playground as well so that’s always cool. Also everyone who lives around here are super nice and friendly.

This pool is warm uncrowded well supervised and has plenty of space to enjoy yourself with either your family or individually and there is lap. Before we collectors open. The only down that I have is that they close very early in the summer but that's it
