This has been my local gym for the past year and I’ve been very much enjoying it. The gym has great facilities, everything I need. The people working there are kind. Most of the people that attend the gym are chill. Having access to the pool is great, sometimes I struggle to find the schedule for that. I do wish they ran some more rec sports. They have pickle ball which I haven’t attended yet but it’d be nice to have some more options in that area. I should also note that I had the contents of my wallet stolen when someone ripped off my lock. Mind you it wasn’t a very good lock but it was a bit disconcerting. They weren’t very helpful with that which I mean I don’t know what they could’ve done. But aside from that I do enjoy it as my gym. It’s a bit pricy but you can get your moneys worth if you use all they have to offer!

I went here for the first time and will not be back. Only because it was a frustrating process. We wanted to go swimming and had some passes to do so. We arrived around 5pm. Our pass did not work, so I had to pay for a $10 DAY pass (not their fault). The bigger pool had swim lessons in it, the smaller pool was closed, and the hot tub was more than full. I asked how are we supposed to swim... she said we have access to the whole building and/or we can sit in the hot tub until 8:30pm when free swim was open. I'm not entirely sure why she let me pay before letting me know I could not swim..? I told them we were here to swim..? Access to walk around the building..? I believe a track or treadmill was open to run, but it was still 3 hours out to swim. (That's a lot of running😂) We did eventually come back because I did not want to waste the $10 and it was something to do on a Tuesday. We arrived 10 minutes earlier so we could change. She showed us where the change rooms were and said so in about 7 minutes you can go in the pool. Standing around us and counting down the time felt over barring. I also wished they told me the strict rules of what we could wear in the pool. No goggles covering the nose, and only curtain bathing suits were okay (I was wearing a high waist bottoms and a longer bikini top. The other person I was with was wearing swim shorts and a bikini top) nothing was revealing or could be revealed (our bums and chests were covered, possibly our tummies were the issue?) . We were allowed to stay but had to use different goggles and were told if we come back we had to have different bathing suits(weird). After that the joy and fun of swimming was sucked out of the experience and I felt awkward for having my goggles taken away and felt too exposed. We sat around the pool for 45 minutes and left. As we were changing to leave we saw a used pad on the ground and the ground was very dirty. I will say the showers were nice in general (pressure of the water and temp control) I believe the girl who originally charged me was new, but possibly should have been watched over more. She was very lovely, even after I started voicing my frustration with this experience(mainly the bathing suit thing) I would recommend not going to the open swim. The cost of it is a lot unless your a student, but even still this is one of the most expensive pools I have swam in that was: One very dirty, secondly time restricted (830-945), third strict dress code, fourth not overally rude, but I believe was due to mutual frustration and fifth calling it a day pass is dumb. You have to book times to access the areas of the building or attend the set up times that are usually under 2 hours and are not during the day😂 (just charge $10 per booking??) This was an odd experience, I would recommend three other pools (google recommends. Truro has a lovely facility) I should have went back to get a refund, but I thought it would have been harder to do so, I'm realizing not now. The experience was kind of embarrassing, but I suppose maybe would have been different if I were to have joined as a member.

I work out and swim here, and I enjoy how clean the pool is. The warm water is relaxing. The staff is also friendly. However, the floor in the women’s changing room in the basement isn’t very clean, and some of the doors are broken. I would appreciate it if they could pay more attention to cleanliness and safety.
