Washington Park Pickleball Courts

2 Nice Pickleball Courts (built 2023) inside Washington Park between the tennis courts and playground. They both have their own entrance without interrupting others while in play. The courts are separated by a standard net divider. Often times there are players as its popularity grows. A wonderful addition to the park! There are restrooms near by in the playground 👍

These courts are fun to play at, but the “advanced players” ruin it by hogging the courts and ignoring the 1 hour rule. It’s unfair and frustrating for everyone else. These people need to check themselves… I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way. Also, this park does reservations for the tennis courts (there’s management that enforces it), but they don’t do anything for the court hoggers at the pickleball courts.

Instead of suggesting not to come here for pickleballs because of those court huggers, we should gather more people there to line up and kick them out or call the police together. Time to teach them a lesson.
