Had a pretty positive experience overall when I played here for a tournament last month. I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this place so I kept my expectations practical. The people/owners who worked the front desk were really friendly. It was kind of annoying that no one answers the phone, but they do respond to emails quickly. The spacing here isn’t terrible but could be better. The distance between the baseline and the walls on some of the courts is a bit small. I’ve been to places like CityPickle where the spacing is far worse. Unfortunately there’s no heating here so it gets really cold in between events if you’re not playing for a while. I felt like they ran the tournament very efficiently for the most part. They had a running screen with all the scores and it was all updated in a timely manner. However, there was someone who had a DUPR of 4.2 who was sandbagging and playing in the 3.0-3.5 division which was pretty unfair. Needless to say, they ended up winning by a mile and the rest of us were playing for silver. I hope they do a better job making sure everyone signs up for the appropriate divisions in the future. Additionally, it would be nice if they personalized the medals for the tournaments- they kind of look like something you could order on amazon. Had a positive experience overall, but there’s definitely a couple of adjustments they can make

7 courts. Nice facility. Great staff...that is why the 5* review. The staff are all friendly. The heads of the facility are always open to feedback and respond to any and every inquiry. The people / community are good people. Hope to see you on one of the courts.

I feel bad posting this because the owners are so nice but they really need to fix their processes and systems. First, I went to open play a while ago and it was organized very poorly. There were 4 courts and instead of doing it by level it was mixed. You would put your racket down on the court you wanted to play in which meant multiple people on one court and waiting while there were 3 open courts, there were 15 people all waiting for one court. The best way to do open play is by levels and then having subs come in once a game is finished. Second, the open play setup makes it very clique-y meaning there is no socialization for new comers which is personally my favorite part about pickleball. Then they have no nets just small little barricadas to stop the ball from rolling around, meaning the balls we’re flying everywhere!! You couldn’t get more than 2 points in without a ball flying in. Third, I booked a court to play today and accidentally booked the wrong time (yes definitely my fault). However, when I went back in immediately to try and edit the time by just half an hour. , there was no option to edit the times (not like there weren’t times available, all courts were practically empty), or cancel and then I tried to call but then found out by their voicemail that they do not take any phone calls for any reason. I wouldn’t have minded any of this if the price was lower, but $100 to rent a court for 2 hours is crazy. Yes, once in person the people are lovely. That is the only reason I’m giving two stars. Otherwise it would have been 1. I totally understand that they are very new, but hoping this review helps them 😬
