Very nice and clean park! It's in the city, yet, one can't tell while visiting. It's lively and peaceful simultaneously. There's playground equipment and a splash pad for children to enjoy. There's also a paved sidewalk that is around the perimeter of the area. Definitely worth a visit!

We visited Honeycutt Park on Christmas Eve with our children and had an unsettling experience. While at the playground, a man stood nearby filming the playground and the children. Another parent told us he even filmed her family as they walked to their car. Despite being approached and asked to stop, he refused and continued filming, claiming he had the right to do so. We called the Fayetteville Police, but unfortunately, they explained there was no law preventing this kind of behavior. While they spoke to the man, they were unable to take further action. Parents should be aware that this type of incident can happen, and as it stands, there is currently no legal recourse in Fayetteville to address it. While we love Honeycutt Park, this experience left us feeling uneasy about returning.

A newer park for the bigger kids is going to open soon, and the little kids love the toddler park. There is a cool climbing net and a smaller climbing play place for the smaller kids. There is a seasonal splash pad and baseball and softball parks. Lots of space to play and walk. Dogs are okay on leash. Gazebo with picnic tables. There are sometimes some shady characters around, but we haven't had any issues. A good place for kids to meet new friends as well as adults and also to meet up and have playdates. Central location next to FTCC.
