I started playing at Wolverine Pickleball about 18 months ago. I immediately felt welcomed and quickly decided that I wanted to become a member. I was disappointed to learn that they were not taking new members but chose to join the waiting list. After a year passed without an invitation, I began to wonder, “Will I ever get to join?!” The main reason that I coveted membership was to be able to sign up to play 10 days in advance instead of four. Two weeks ago the email offering membership arrived. It has changed my life! No more waking up early to be on my phone, 4 days in advance, ready to click to register at the stroke of 7:00 AM. My wife and I now have a family membership and no longer worry about getting shut out of a play session. Wolverine has become a home away from home and we are enjoying it more than ever!

Recently we were in Michigan to visit for 4 nights and we planned on trying to play pickleball. Well we live 2400 miles away from Ann Arbor but decided to try and play!! I had great success making arrangements to play at Wolverine Pickleball in Ann Arbor. What a great experience. I was asked to go online to creat a profile and join their public club. Once that was done I signed up for a round robin 2 hour 24 player tournament which turned out to be a blast. The courts were wonderful. The temperature was perfect (8 degree outside). The facility was clean and clearly maintained very well. This was such a great experience I decided to play the next day too! The facility is very friendly and was stocked with snacks and drinks. They had a small pro shop that was lightly stocked but perfect! Lori took us around and showed us the whole place and we were very impressed. If you’re in town and you want to play they are available for “non-members”. But we had a great time! Thanks for being so great in helping us through the frigid Michigan cold!!
