South Riverside Park

An incredible section of Riverside Park, just north of Seneca and McLean, and accessible using Central. The paved path found here has one of the more scenic walks of any Wichita park. The amount of lush and lively trees to see here is impressive, giving the area lots of shade while enjoying the stroll next to the river. One section of the park has low growing, drooping trees that are fascinating to to see with such low hanging but very large branches. This park also has rentable courts for pickle ball and tennis as well as an indoor training center. Also in the area is a rowing center which has kayaks available for rent and docks for multiple activities in the river. This is a special place in Wichita and I highly encourage the city to pay it a visit.

Good place to kayak or row. Has decent entry points to the river. Great scenery and and plenty of room for multiple people on the water.

Could use more parking at the tennis courts. Was great facility, but for hosting state tennis parking should be better.
