Brookside Park

Perched atop a large hill, this park has a great quiet neighborhood feel. It is pretty quaint and clean. My son loves the sandpit. The tallest slide could use repair/replacement, and thankfully it was closed off to the kids. Two picnic tables here and a few benches, plus a tennis court and sand volleyball tucked off into a treelined area. Street parking only. There's a beautiful view across the west during sunset.

It's ok to rest on a ride. Small park for young kids,baseball diamond,trolley trail goes past it,sledding in winter. No parking lot,no water fountain I've seen,some shade,few trees,tennis or badminton or whatever courts. More of a local park,I did see people with lacrosse sticks that was interesting,would have watched some old guys play lacrosse in the heat.

One of the best sledding hills around. They don't call it suicide hill for nothing.
