Pickleball/Tennis Courts

There are no longer any tennis courts. All are pickleball courts now :-(.

All the people that I met there were very nice there are tournaments there on occasion which makes it hard to get a court most of the players there are more experienced and then playing for quite a while the courts are older and in need of some repair there was a few holes on parts of some of the Courts one particularly could be dangerous also repair in the walkway between the courts is necessary they lost a lot of trees parts of trees around the pickleball court there are only two quarts that are generally shaded early in the morning on the east side and those usually taken up quite early the rest are mostly in full sun I've had a wonderful experience playing there and meeting people I would recommend it to anyone who wants to play Pickleball it is on the back side of Chatham Community Park if you come in on South Main you have to go all the way down the road to get to the back end of the park where the pickleball courts and the tennis courts are located there is a restroom that is open by the children's playground and close proximity to the courts hope you come out would like to meet you my name is bill k r i e g I'm 72 it's a lot of fun and doesn't require as much running as tennis which is ideal for older people
