Eagle Rock Park

Hike around was good but if it's rainy or moist at all don't hike up to the rock formation on Shoshonne-Paiutte 19A trail - it's way too muddy. Shoshonne-Bannock 19A trail is fine except for a couple of puddle spots - large grain rock. Rock formation is beautiful with beautiful moss and lichens - even purple!

This is a really great park. We loved it for hiking trails (manageable with baby carrier) followed by playground time. There's also a nice field for roaming, a small covered area w/tables (perfect for parties & gatherings) & bathroom facilities. Tennis courts & trails that connect to Table Rock are also present. Parking lot is small but you can't beat the location. Just *another* great park in the City of Boise

Great little park for a morning or afternoon visit. Plenty of playground equipment, shade, picnic tables, tennis courts and open grass for kid activities.
