Nice little neighborhood park with a good set of toys for younger children

I take kids that I nanny here on occasion. We would only go here because it's close walking distance. One sunny day during summer, for absolutely no reason, I chose to chase my little one up the slide and I was so glad that I did because of what I found. I found a home made pot smoking device with the ash still in it and everything. One of the kids that was there for a play camp said the bottle had been there since they arrived(7-7:30am) we arrived after 12. So kids are just playing around weed water and ash? This is right next to a school. I am unaware of the policies on anything but here's what I have experienced to date. There is a canal with running water on the far end of the park across the grass, great big beautiful climbing trees hang over. Not a problem, except this park seems to be the place to let your kids run loose and unsupervised. It’s a dangerous mess. I would recommend the city to have more patrolling in this neighborhood, maybe a neighborhood watch if there isn’t one already, better up keep, posted signs preventing unsupervised kids and fencing.

We had a field trip here, and attended a birthday party. Both were great here, the kids love the toys, and there is plenty of covered seating. There is also a volleyball area and two restrooms.
