This is a beautiful park with a lot to do. My kids love the playground. Tennis courts and a lake area. The park has a trash problem. Littering at a children's park is low, and others looking at it is almost as bad. Besides the trash the park is very pretty.

I visit this park very often - weekly to be exact. There is a walking/running trail that surrounds the park area, giving beautiful panoramic views of the water and park area while you exercise. There are places designated along the walking/running path that prompt you to stretch, adding to your exercise experience. There are also building spaces you can rent for special gatherings and celebrations. I personally have attended a family gathering there. I often take my daughter (who skateboards) to enjoy the designated skating. It's a great place for her to connect and learn from other skaters. If you enjoy tennis or pickle ball, they have that too! Outside of day to day normal functions, this park hosts special events for the community as well. If you are looking for a nice family-friendly space, I highly recommend giving this park a try.

Thanks to Chatham County and Phil Hurd for giving my Son and I a place where we can spend quality time together and meet new Friends and Family with the oldest running RC track ever.
