If you don't spend much time in your apartment, you will enjoy it here. The surrounding area is very nice and there are many close amenities/restaurants. However, the other tenants in my surrounding units were very loud and I had multiple issues where i was reprimanded at my work from home job due to noise complaints caused by neighbors. So beware of the thin walls. Also, the AC unit is so loud that you can't really have a conversation while it is on. I had an issue withe neighbors essentially owning the free parking spaces for visitors. They would park their junk cars and just leave them there, so I'd have to park my own car in the overflow parking every time I had a visitor. The hallways of the units boost any noise, so you can hear every conversation through your front door if your neighbors like to hang around in the hall or smoke cigarettes outside their door. The pool is constantly filled with people who aren't residents, as well as the courts. I wanted this to be a positive experience, but overall living here was the worst year of my life. In addition, in my short time there, the infrastructure was tested and promptly failed. The main water line broke in the middle of the day and the hill in front of my house was flooded. There was also a winter storm that knocked out only the power to our specific units that wasn't resolved for nearly 4 days. They offer incentives for good reviews which might explain some of the ratings. The low number of reviews for a complex that has been around over a decade should raise suspicion. I debated leaving this review for sometime as I genuinely did like the staff, even if they were known to leave early on occasion. However, I feel guilty seeing all these reviews knowing some young person will move here thinking it is a paradise. Even for a "starter" apartment, the allure of finally being able to move out on my own for the first time was meet with a stream of unhappiness and daily dread over what issues might arise next.

Happy holidays!! I’ve been moving all of this past week into the trotter apt and i haven’t stayed the night in my new place yet, but needed to come and say my whole experience so far from the tour and post move in date with Latisha has been amazing!! Hope she stay around during my stay here My apt is so cute and cozy
