I’m frustrated because every afternoon , I try to practice soccer with two of my friends, but we’re consistently kicked out by a teacher from the nearby school. They claim to have a contract that gives them exclusive use of the entire field, which is ridiculous since this is supposed to be a public park. The school occupies it from 8 AM to 3 PM, and then a soccer club takes over at 4 PM. When exactly is this park available for public use? I’m not asking for much—just half of the soccer field would be enough for us to play. It’s infuriating because this park is the best one near my neighborhood, and I love coming here. What can be done to address this issue and ensure that the public actually has access to this public park?

I try to go train soccer with two of my friends every morning but I guess there is a school close by and they always come and the teacher of the class kicks us out, claims he has a contract and needs the entire area just for them. I want to know what can be done because if there is school from 8am-3pm and then at 4pm the soccer club that plays there has practice, when is the field actually public if this is supposed to be a public park. All I’m asking for is half the soccer field to be able to be used. What can be done with this supposed public park. I love coming here and is a great park and is the closest to my neighborhood.
