Mehaffey Park Pickleball Courts

4 courts are nice and we usually find a spot outside of peak hours. Unfortunately the pickleball community here deserves zero stars.. just had a couple show up with a cooler of food walking up complaining about all of the younger people on the court, we both verbally said "hi" to them and received nothing in response. Heard them say they should warn their friends who are on the way, for 7pm to roll around and they said, "sorry to be those people, but we have all 4 courts reserved". We left and checked WebTrac immediately before getting to our car and they had only reserved 1 of the 4 courts. They just told everyone to leave so they could have the place to themselves on a Saturday evening to celebrate a 45th birthday 👎 Don't let people bully you, say you'll check WebTrac for the reservation before leaving. Or check WebTrac before arriving (which is what we usually do but forgot today)

Nice area not a whole lot is seating close to the courts and it's almost always busy if you don't have a reservation is hard to get play time
