Though I enjoy our time at the Central Rec Center will no longer be taking my family there. I took my child to swim on Sunday, and noticed the person sitting next to me with what I thought was a firearm. I the individual must have realized it wasn’t concealed, and cover the hand gun with his shirt. - not sure if what I saw was a gun, I still reported it to the staff. Staff stated they would monitor the situation but because of the carry & conceal laws, there isn’t much they could do. For peace of mind, I ask the individual if they were for sure carrying, and they said they were, they have a permit & said they have carried multiple times in the rec center. I thanked the individual for answering my question. The staff listened to my concerns & were professional explaining their policies. I because the rec center allows concealed and carry into a family space, I don’t feel comfortable returning.

We just had our son's 3rd birthday there, and it was perfect!! The staff was so kind and helpful. His birthday was stress free! We had a ton of fun in the pool. Everything was super clean too. I can't recommend this rec enough!

This pool is amazing! It’s so cool having a wave pool and a lazy river, keeps the kids real entertained. Note to - everyone - the wave pool and slide don’t tend to open till noon or after.
