My kids love this gym. They enjoy the teachers, the facilities, and the things they're learning in class. From a parent perspective, it's fun to attend class and observe the various skills they work on each week and the progress they make from week to week. They assess students to make sure they move up to new levels when they're ready. All in all, I'd say we love everything about the actual gymnastics classes. As for logistics, the price is fair and they have classes available every day of the week. Unfortunately, they don't have the option to substitute a class for another session if you have a conflict (other gyms have this option and it's HUGELY appealing since there will always be things that come up once or twice during a semester and it's great to not have to miss class). I'd say the biggest drawback is the scheduling process and the fact that class space is extremely limited. If you've been with the APEX semester after semester, you're likely in their rhythm and you'll know when to register at the end of each semester and have no issues. However, if you're accustomed to another gym and you're not used to re-registering your kid each semester, you might miss registering for the next semester. It would be really helpful if they sent out a text to parents whose children are already enrolled to let them know weeks in advance when registration will be for the next semester. Maybe put stickers on the kids that remind parents when registration opens up. Possibly give existing customers a couple of days to register before opening classes to the public. My kids attended the gym for one semester and LOVED it, but I didn't attend with them on the wrong day as I had to take another kid somewhere; unfortunately, I missed the sign at the door that said registration was coming up. I received the FIRST email informing me to re-register about 36 hours after registration opened up that said "Grab your spot, they're filling up fast!" but I was too late. The spots were all filled. After only one semester at the Apex, we're sadly looking for another gym. A lot of change isn't good for kids and mine are SO SAD to start over after a single semester, especially after finding a gym they love. I would recommend that they find a way to send emails to current customers with ENROLL NOW as the subject line, inviting them to re-enroll and including a link to register in the email. The registration process isn't user friendly and--if you happen to miss the first day of registration for whatever reason--you'll be out of luck as your kids will be forced to start again somewhere else. I don't mind registering each semester, but the fact that it means potentially losing one's spot at the gym is discouraging, I wasn't accustomed to the registration process and my kids' experience at the Apex was cut too short. With so many people interested in classes, perhaps they should consider opening up more classes. We are leaving the Apex incredibly discouraged that missing registration by one day forced us to leave behind a place we would have stayed for years. If you want consistency and guaranteed enrollment for the duration of a school year, you may want to consider another gym with a more streamlined enrollment process. They have so many people wanting to take their classes, it’s probably no matter to them if they lose customers, but it's nevertheless sad for the kids who have to start over again.

Ninja Classes! The Mini-Ninja for 3-5 years old with Coach Lauren is great! Coach Lauren does a great job running the class, keeping the kids engaged and moving the entire class! Highly recommend taking her course! The Mini Ninja for 5-10 is not worth your time- the majority of the class the kids spend standing in line waiting to do the course. Multiple classes my child was lucky to do each of the three lines, a time or two. It’s to the point that the kiddos will wait to do the entire course at the end, and a teacher told the students 20 minutes till the end of class that they wouldn’t have a chance to go again so they could leave. Lots of waiting- truly wish Coach Lauren ran the class.
