Fair Oaks Park

Yet another small but useful neighborhood park. If you've read my reviews of other parks you may know I prefer parks where you can go off site and hike with entrances usually at the park perimeter somewhere. Well, this is not that kind of a park. It's an also common park layout in SCV, one that is surrounded by the neighborhood it sits in. This is also not a particularly big park but none are that I've encountered that follow this model, the neighborhood specific park. If you live near this park it's perfectly fine. Nothing at all wrong with it. I give it four stars because it's not a repeat visit kind of place unless you're in that neighborhood bubble. if you are then this place really fits the bill. Open grass area to toss a football or fly a kite. 5 picnic solo picnic tables with a basic charcoal capable grill. Seating places around the walking path that wraps around the park. You can get steps in here but you'll be doing laps and lots of them if you're trying to hit a number. Bathrooms were clean. Full court Basketball area. Two, covered, jungle gym areas, both with swing sets and perhaps it's most unique feature, for a park this size, two sand trap volleyball courts, nice. So yeah, if you're around the area and want a place to chill or get a little exercise this park has that for you and well maintained as is the norm for one of the many, many parks in Santa Clarita. Oh, parking is ample as well with a lot and street parking.

Fun wide open park for kids, plenty of play equipment and areas to run around and do activities. Covered table areas big enough for families or parties, with small Grills. Bathrooms are close by. All in all a wonderful park to spend time at. Covered table areas can be reserved for large parties.

Its a very good patk with 2 sand volley ball cours 1 basket ball and 2 big kids play areas. Toilets are open around 8 AM.. Good walking path for walking lovers. Two picnic shelters are available and hope that can be reserved.
