The courts are not very well maintained. There are cracks all over the playing surfaces

The courts are old and poorly maintained. The surface of these courts is severely cracked making the ball bounce funny. The wind breaks screens are missing on two courts making it harder to play. Why the upkeep of the courts are neglected is baffling considering the City of Santa Clara collects lots of taxes from its residents.

The tennis courts are nice and parking is ample in the lot as well as on the street. The nets are good and the courts are playable, but all four of the courts have some amount of cracks on them. Recently, the windscreens on the far left court (farthest from the parking lot) got partially disconnected from the fence. I saw that lots of the clips had fallen to the ground so if you sit on the bench there you may be hit by the flailing windscreen. Hopefully the city fixes it soon. We usually play around 12pm on Sunday mornings and can most always find a free court or two.
