Always a great experience. We love the outer perimeter track (about a mile around) the mature trees and big pond make it a perfect urban nature space. (Photos taken by a friend)

The walk around the lake was nice. Large park with big play area. Bathrooms locked. Homeless hanging out in certain areas. Construction crew working on improvements.

SOUTHSIDE PARK IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITY OF SACRAMENTO PARKS I’VE SEEN IN SACRAMENTO!! I LOVE SEEING THE DUCKS SWIM IN THE POND! THE POND LOOKS SO PHENOMENAL! THIS PARK IS SO PHENOMENAL! VERY NICE TO TAKE WALKS, PLAY TENNIS, PLAY BASKETBALL, AND A BIG PLAYGROUND FOR THE KIDS TO PLAY AND HAVE FUN! SIMPLY AMAZING!!! 🥰
