It’s one of the few places in Ventura where you can play pickleball. Portable nets. Zero shade. Very sketchy surfaces but better than nothing. People are friendly which is definitely worth something.

Nicely kept fields. Just watch out for inconsiderate dog owners' leavings.

Good open grass area, tennis courts, and baseball diamonds. Good spot except occasionally some people sleep around there at night. We feel very safe during the day and pretty comfortable in the evenings, although we have turned away from the park if there are some shady characters about.
