San Leandro Pickleball Courts

This is a nice addition to the park, but it should be open till at least 10 pm. Especially in the summer. Also, they need to add more Pickleball courts here. It's always full of people, and every court is always being used. We need more Pickleball! There seems to be some construction going on nearby. I really hope their working on adding more courts. If you can't close at 10 pm every night, how about only on Friday and Saturday nights? That way, more people can play and make use of the nice lights. That would make a lot of sense, and everybody would love it.

Officially opened September 15, 2023. Great facility, which is open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. There are 6 brand new fully dedicated Pickleball courts next to 2 full time tennis courts. The lights come on automatically and turn off at 8:00 pm. The City of San Leandro is planning to install windscreens and update the lighting system to full LED. The courts are 4 on, 4 off when people are waiting. This is done by laying your paddle next to the net post. Four benches are installed and no outside chairs are allowed on the new surface. There is ample parking next to the courts.

Came here a couple times to play pickleball. This place does have multiple courts, but it doesn’t have lights at night. Someone do come and kick everyone out of the court around 8pm.
