WOW! I've played in many clubs and parks around the US. PowerPlay is in a league of its own. Nicely done team! The facility is A+. Big permanent courts and they are all INDIVIDUALLY fenced in. Really great touch ya'll. Bathrooms are clean and the staff went out of their way to welcome me. I told them it was my first time at PowerPlay. I got a personal tour! Again, best club I've been too AND they are adding outdoor courts with a restaurant. WOW!

The atmosphere is so friendly and energetic. Whether you're a pro or a newbie, it’s got everything you need. The indoor courts set up are a game changer. I’ll definitely be returning for more games!

PowerPlay Pickleball has both its pros and cons, depending on what you're looking for in a pickleball facility. Starting with the positives, it’s great to have indoor courts available in the South Bay area, especially when the weather isn’t ideal for outdoor play. Their organized programs, such as lessons and ladder play, are well-structured and enjoyable, providing a good environment for skill development and competitive fun. However, as an advanced beginner player, I found the environment during open play sessions to be quite intimidating. The majority of the players are highly advanced and very competitive, which can make beginners feel unwelcome. Open play also tends to be very clique-y, with groups sticking together rather than opening up the courts to others. This made it challenging to integrate and feel included. Additionally, the "Friday Night Lights" event was not as organized as advertised. The courts were supposed to be divided by skill level, but this wasn’t enforced—even after we inquired about it—which made it less enjoyable for players of varying abilities. If you’re an advanced player or looking for organized programs, PowerPlay could be a good fit. However, if you’re newer to pickleball or seeking a more inclusive and welcoming open play experience, you might want to keep these factors in mind.
