Nibley Park

A small but very nice park with a newer playground, a restroom building, lots of open lawn areas (and picnic tables) and plenty of mature shade trees. The park is also (mostly) enclosed by a wall/fence, which is a nice treat given that most Glendale parks lack fencing. The playground was replaced a few years ago and has plenty of equipment for all ages (though because it has wood chips underneath it certainly is not a universally accessible playground). Street parking only but there is always a spot nearby (they really really need a sidewalk on the park side of the street). The fact it only has a half court basketball court is disappointing. Tennis courts are never too busy. Bathrooms are ok.

Beautiful little park. Lots of shade. The grounds are nice and the swingsets are in great shape. It's odd that you can't park directly in front of the park entrance but it's a nice place to bring the family and enjoy. Very small basketball court and two tennis courts.
