The park is nice, has an awesome pool (needs some love), and used to have an amazing free 4th of July fireworks show. I went for a birthday party at the Bellflower Aquatic Center (the name of the pool). The family had a lot of fun, the facility provided chairs and tables, and we brought the fun, not leaving a mess. After some time, you can notice, the water has started to work its wonders on the concrete. I would recommend the park and the pool.

Really ugly worn down park, stopped by here for a moment, never coming back. The lack of maintenance reflects poorly on the parks & rec.

I love Thompson Park. My family has been going there for years now and it never disappoints. Especially with the new playground being built my siblings are very excited. It’s good for picnics, babyshowers, and parties. The equipment is very fun and enjoyable with kids, teenagers and maybe adults as well.
