Nice spot to take yourself, your kids or your dog for a walk. Not an off leash park. Numerous ducks by the three ponds but mostly they stay by the north pond closest to Macbeth and the south pond close to Lilac Dr. Pleasant atmosphere overall. Fenced playground at entrance off McBeth Ave in far northwest corner of park. Two tennis courts and a basketball court in the centre of the park. The basketball court was repaved last summer. The tennis court needs some work but it's okay. Be careful of owls and even the very odd falcon if you have a very small dog. These sightings are very rare but are present at certain times of the year. Easiest access to park off Lilac Drive or Macbeth. Park is open from dawn to dusk. Unfortunately there are a select few students from Earl Marriott Secondary who consistently litter the park during their breaks however the park is generally left beautiful when school is out during summer including weekends and other school breaks. The school does little to correct the problem.

This is our local park that we walk to several times a week. It features a nice hard concrete trail that's bike-friendly, a caged tennis court with two nets, several ponds, plenty of shade from trees, a full outdoor basketball court and a small playground. The playground has two swings (one for toddlers), a small slide, seesaws, and a play car structure. It's fully caged in and the ground is mulch. It really is a nice neighbourhood park and it's surrounded by residential houses. You can find people often walking their dogs and playing with their kids.
