South Arm Community Centre

Really top community centre with super friendly and helpful staff. They have the number 1 gym in Richmond which is constantly being upgraded (new washrooms, showers and change rooms this month). Lots of equipment and free weight options in lots of space. Also a large aerobics room with regular classes. My only criticism is their spin classes. They have cut them back to only a few options every week and only at a beginner level. Pre COVID they had the best spin program in the city. Please Note for perspective: this picture covers only about 20% of this large gym.

City staff are personable, knowledgeable, and always helpful to kids. This space has so much variety and is easily accessible to all. Programs and amenities cater well to this community. Remind your teens that this space exists, bring your family on these rainy dark afternoons/eves.

South Arm is the best community centre in Richmond. The fitness centre is well equipped and filled with wonderful people and friendly staff who can get you started.
