Riverside Park

Fantastic place to park and stretch if you happen to drive by. This park isn't massive, but it has everything you need to wind down and relax. Situated at the confluence of North and South Thompson Rivers, this park is the place to bask in the autumn scenery. One thing of note is that only one out of three parking lots in the park is free, and it can get full.

Stopped by here while staying in Kamloops. Arrived at a perfect time to capture the sunset over the Thompson River. Park was large with plenty of room and facilities whether you're there alone or with family. There's sitting areas in the grass, benches, or around the playground and splash pad. You can relax and enjoy the views or find an activity to do. Great park for all ages.

Beautiful place. We made two stops at this park, there were different activities. Family atmosphere, fun, you can get into the river, rent a paddle board or kayak, eat pizza or ice cream. It's lovely here, not to mention the beautiful trees in this park.
